[Takes place the day after the Welcome thread, just for Silvermist and Puck to interact....and for Silvermist's first day here as well]
Well, she had arrived at the hotel at long last, sure, she was probabally a day late in doing so, but it didn't matter to her in the end, she was here and that's all that really mattered to her. But the black haired fairy was still somewhat concerned about what would happen if Tink were to find out that she had left without saying anything to her.
Sure, that did start to worry Silvermist as the fairy landed on a nearby plate and in turn, seemed to already look as though she was a bit frantic on the matter. Though she was probabally just over-reacting on the matter, it was just that she just didn't like to upset Tink was all.
Perhaps doing something else in general, even if it were talking about something else entirely, would help her get her mind off things. But the question still remained as to whom she could speak to right now.....if anyone actually wanted to talk to herself.

Puck, feeling just a tad peckish, had entered the dining hall shortly after Silvermist, in search of a snack. So far he was finding the hotel interesting, especially as far as the crowd was concerned. An entire hotel full of people yet to be exposed to his entertainment measures...oh, how he would revel in it. Already he'd shown off his skills to a couple members of the staff. So what if they'd only been watching because they were paid to, and so what that he'd had to call them there by ordering room service? You had to start somewhere, didn't you?
Settling down at the large dining table, Puck leaned back in his chair, taking no notice at first of the female guest at the place across from him. Pulling a deck of cards from his pocket, he began to shuffle them absentmindedly, then began stacking them into a house.
However, when he'd made his first archway with the ace of spades and a queen of hearts, he dropped his cards in surprise. There, on a plate just across the table from him, was a tiny girl. At only a few inches tall, Puck wasn't quite sure what to make of her. She was a lovely little thing, with sparkling wings and tiny limbs and clothes. She looked like something right out of a fairy tale.
Was that what she was, then? A fairy? What other explanation could there be?
"Um, excuse me, miss..." Puck started slowly, meeting the girl's(or was she a woman?) gaze. "Forgive me for being so forward, but...what, exactly, are you?"

"Tink is going to be mad..." Silvermist muttered to herself, not even realizing that Puck was standing right behind her....well, that was until he spoke up with a single question about what she was. Already, that snapped her out of her little trance she was in as she turned to him in order to answer his question.
"Me? Oh, well, I'm a fair....which is kinda weird and al, cause I thought that the rules were that adults couldn't see us fairies, or maybe that reffers to pixies....or perhaps pixies and fairies are the same...." Silvermist just groaned at that, rubbing her forehead a little at even trying to think on the matter.
Though she then had to straighten herself up before her wings started to flutter and in turn, she started to hover off the ground "You're a human....right? Tink would love to meet one of your kind" she spoke up again before realizing one other thing "Oh right, um....my name's Silvermist, I'm a nature fairy....a water fairy to be exact"

Puck raised an eyebrow at her response, a little confused by what she'd said. He'd picked up the words "fairy," "pixie," and something about adults being unable to see her, though, so he had a pretty decent idea of what she was talking about. He was talking to a real live fairy...or pixie, whatever. The point was, she was real, and he was somehow able to see her and carry on a conversation with her.
This was pretty awesome, to say the least.
"I knew it! I knew they were real!" He laughed, hitting his fist against the table triumphantly. "And they said I was just acting like a kid...well look here! A real fairy!" Puck shook his head, grinning from ear to ear. He started to extend a hand, then realized how ridiculous that would be, and stuck out his pinky finger for her to shake.
"The name's Puck, Silvermist. Pleased to make your acquaintance," he smiled, nodding his head formally. "And you'd be right on the human bit...though I doubt that's as interesting a position as your own," he smirked. He leaned forward on his elbow, giving her his rapt attention, an unusual gesture for Puck. "Now, if you wouldn't mind me asking, what exactly does a water fairy do? I've done a bit of research on your kind, but...do you think you could give a demonstration?"

Silvermist shook Puck's pinky back as he asked her for a demonstration and in turn, she had to think on it for a moment. Sure, she would love to, but she needed water for that to happen as she looked around for a moment then back to Puck again "Oh um, sure....just give me a moment to um...get ready" she spoke up, needing to at least say something to him without having any of those awkward silences.
And with that, she took off, looking around rather frantically, which took her a good minute at the very least before she returned to where Puck was, giving off a rather sheepish smile "There's a small, tiny little problem with that....I uh....I need some water to show you how I use water" she spoke up, giving off a small, nervous sounding laugh as she did so.
Oh how first impressions weren't going so well for her right now....she could at least see that herself.

Once she had explained her predicament, Puck rolled his eyes at his own foolishness. Of course she would need water, if she was a water fairy. What was he thinking? He was lucky he hadn't offended her or something. Glancing around the table, Puck caught sight of a pitcher of water, and, taking the glass in front of him at the table, filled it and placed it down in front of the fairy.
"Will this do?" He asked, with a smile. "Sorry; wasn't quite thinking when I asked...it's just that I've never seen anything quite like you before. Though I've tried." He'd had a fascination with fairies and magic since he was a child, but he'd never seen one up until this point. He'd been so interested in the Fae that he'd gone so far as to taper his ears, having them curved into tall points like an elf. And his name itself was reminiscent to fairy folklore...Robin Goodfellow, a character of Shakespeare and mythology alike.
Needless to say, he was a fan.

Silvermist flew up to the edge of the glass, landing on it as she looked at the water inside before nodding "Yeah, it'll do" she spoke before tapping her chin in thought somewhat. It was as if she was trying to figure out what it was she could show him. And it had to be something simple too, as she didn't want to have to use her pixie dust in doing so, after all, she already had a low supply of it as it was.
She snapped her fingers "I've got it, it's something that I tried to help Tink do at one point when she wanted to changer her talent and all that....and anyway...." she trailed off, glancing around before she spotted what she was after and crouched down, grabbing a single drop of water, though in her hands, it was quite big before she flew off towards the nearest spider's web.
"Watch this" she spoke up and in turn, placed the water on the spider's web, allowing for the water to spread out amongst it and before long, the spider's web was covered in water droplets as she flew back down to where Puck was once again.
"It was a shame that Tink never could get the hang of it, after all, she is a tinker fairy herself, always fixing stuff...." Silvermist sighed just a little before shaking her head "But yeah, that's just something simple I can do" she added in, though, starting to wonder one other thing....as to how Puck could even understand her, as far as she knew, humans weren't suppose to.
But it didn't matter anyway, she was talking to him and he was understanding her easily, that's all that really mattered anyway, no point in questioning that.
(ooc: Yeah, already I can't quite recall how she did that in the movie, the whole water on the spiderweb ordeal, so it is a bit vauge at the moment, sorry XD)

Puck's eyes widened with interest, and he couldn't help but grin widely at the spectacle of the fairy's work. To think, all this time, they really had existed. Maybe he wasn't crazy after all...or, at least, not quite as crazy as previously assumed.
"What a lark!" He laughed, bringing his hands together with a wider grin than before. "But, if you don't mind my asking, just who is Tink? How many more of your kind are there? Do they all do the same magic as yourself?" He hoped he wasn't overloading her with questions. He simply couldn't believe his luck at finding a real fairy. Smiling a bit sheepishly, he amended, "Er...sorry. Just curious is all."

"Hmm? Oh Tink? She's....well...she's just...." Silvermist trailed off for just a moment "She's my special someone, you know, go on dates with her, being able to kiss her on the lips and all that sort of stuff....what's the word...." she again, paused as she was trying to think of said word before it finally came to her "That's right, my girlfriend....I always forget that word, can be strange using it, as I never thought I could get Tink as my girlfriend....but I did" she sighed happily.
"But she's back in Pixie Hollow right now and well, she's probabally going to be annoyed that I'm here, while she's not and....I don't know what to do about that...." Silvermist trailed off again, sounding a little worried herself.

Puck raised an eyebrow. He didn't think fairies were the "type" to have significant others; mates, sure, if only to increase population, but in all the stories he'd read, fairies were known to be pretty shallow, sometimes unable to feel any human emotion. But this girl seemed to be proving him wrong. Perhaps the stories weren't so true after all.
"Well, uh....I'm not very well knowledged as far as romantic advice goes, but perhaps a bit of communication would be helpful?" He shrugged, "In my experience...wait. I don't really have much experience, do I?" He mused, more to himself than her, with a smirk forming on his lips.
"Look, bottom line. A little separation isn't such a big deal, is it? Or is she the possessive type?"
